Yes, we are a dog-friendly location. All dogs must be on leash at all times, owners must clean up after their dogs, and unruly dogs (determined by the sole judgement of Emmerich Tree Farm) will be asked to leave.
Reservations will be booked through our website. Reservations cost $40 plus a small service fee. The $40 reservation amount can then be applied towards any tree or retail purchase at the farm (service fee cannot be applied).
Yes, we will have a food truck onsite.
Yes, we provide one free cup of hot chocolate per guest.
Yes, we supply bowsaws for your use. We do not allow guests to bring any power tools.
Sorry, we are a cut-your-own farm and encourage you to cut-your-own. We will make exceptions if you are uncomfortable or do not feel safe cutting your own, but we encourage guests who do not want to cut their own trees to purchase one of our fresh-cuts.
We will transport your tree to your vehicle on one of our tractors. We will assist tying the tree to your car. If you would like we will simply provide twine for you to secure your tree, just be sure to check your load before you leave and transport the tree with the butt end facing the front of your vehicle.
We do not allow outside food and beverage or tailgating at our farm.
No, unfortunately our parking area does not accommodate trailers. Please plan accordingly.
The farm is closed to the public and is viewable by appointment only. If you are interested in visiting the farm to prepare for an event or see the venue, please contact us by email to set up an appointment.
The driveway/parking area is a gravel surface, and the path to the venue is a dirt/gravel path. We recommend wearing appropriate footwear for safety. The venue space is concrete and smooth bluestone surrounded by a mulched landscape.
Our event venue has a pavilion structure and a large 30′ x 60′ party tent adjacent to the pavilion. The pavilion has a concrete slab, and the tent covers a 30′ x 40′ bluestone patio. We have two bathrooms onsite as well as a small kitchen area that has a sink and an electric oven/stove. There is also a fire pit with 360 degree seating below the pavilion. The venue space has electricity, running water (hot & cold), and lighting.
We open the farm up to professional photographers for the fall season by appointment only. Sessions can be booked through our website.
We book holiday photography sessions through our an online booking system. You can select from a list of available dates and times to schedule your session.
We require all photographers to carry insurance for their business, so individuals should book through a professional photographer if they are interested in photos at the farm.
You can bring small props that can be carried by hand to the farm site, anything larger, please contact us before your session so we can discuss what props you’d like to bring.
Appointments can be cancelled 48 hours in advance automatically through the booking confirmation system. No cancellations are allowed within 48 hours of your session time. Cancellations due to weather will be rescheduled or refunded on a case by case basis.
Yes, you can arrive up to 10 minutes early to get setup so you are ready for your clients and stay up to 10 minutes later for clean up. Your clients should not stay longer than your booked session time.
You should park in our designated parking spot. No vehicles are allowed down to the farm site for safety. It is best to either greet your clients in the lot, or provide instructions for them to locate you if you cannot meet them between sessions.

No. We do not allow professional photography sessions during our normal Christmas Tree operating season.
We have a small sign at the entrance to our farm, and two pillars. The entrance road goes up a hill and then continues to our parking area before the brown barn. All farm visitors should park in the spaces before the intersection at the barn.
